The Pont Valentre and l’Ermitage at Cahors, obviously a favourite of Brangwyn’s since he owned at least 6 postcard images and a photograph of the bridge. This view is taken from one bank and shows the arched bridge with three towers and gatehouse, together with huts on foreground bank and town houses on far bank.  Gentle colours with heathery hill behind.
