Brangwyn Portfolio

1919

Copper, 23.2×29.7cm
Inscription: Inscribed on wall in reverse ‘FRANCE FREE’
Edition: Gaunt states that 100 prints were taken, but the etching was printed especially for the Brangwyn Portfolio (3) which was produced in an edition of 120. Prints were apparently sold through Frank Lewis in arrangement with The Fine Art Society which seems odd if they were part of the Brangwyn Portfolio. Plate destroyed.
