Almost full length portrait of military man (?) wearing an unusual combination of shorts, tailored jacket with buttoned cuffs, peaked cap, and harness over shoulder. He looks down to his left and leans his hands on his crossbow to his right. Dark shadowing top left of sketch and by the man’s left hip. Another sketch of a crossbow bottom left.
